Casa de Marita seeks to combine all of the traditional qualities
of an international standard hotel, such as comfort, privacy, and
service with the family atmosphere of a large vacation home of the
Italian countryside.
The central house and surrounding buildings contain 10 independent
suites, all just a few feets from the beach, and all reflecting an
individual interplay of color, architecture and decor. Rooms have an
average size of 30 m2 (300 sq. ft.), enjoy air conditioning, hot
water, bar fridge, ceiling fans, colour television with VCR option
and will soon, telephone service in every room. |

The hotel is located on the only large beach in all of Galapagos.
The volcanoes of southern Isabela are the only ones easily
accessible to visitors–day trips on foot or horseback can be
arranged. Bicycles, snorkeling equipment can be rented at the hotel,
and tame horses can be arranged for trips on the beach, in the
agricultural lands, or to the volcanic rim. |
